LanTMS v1.0.9 multi-model configuration and AI translation update

As large language models become more widely used in enterprise translation workflows, relying on a single model makes it difficult to address every type of content and use case. LanTMS v1.0.9 focuses on giving enterprise teams greater flexibility and control over how AI translation is used. The release also includes updates to text translation, Quick Document Translation, CAT editing, and enterprise management.

01 Configure Multiple AI Models for Different Translation Tasks

Different models perform differently depending on the content. Some may be better suited to technical material, while others perform better with natural-language expression, specific language pairs, or specialized domains.

LanTMS v1.0.9 now supports custom management of mainstream large language models. Administrators can enable, disable, and switch between available models based on business scenarios and team requirements.

With this update, model selection can become part of an organization's translation strategy rather than remaining a fixed platform setting. Teams can decide which model to use for different types of content according to their own requirements. LanTMS will also continue exploring more open model integration options to provide enterprises with greater flexibility in model selection.

02 Updates to Everyday Translation Workflows

LanTMS v1.0.9 also introduces a set of changes across Text Translation, Quick Document Translation, and the CAT editor.

Text Translation now supports customizable shortcuts, automatic or manual translation modes, a maximum of 20,000 characters per translation, and direct search across translation history. Quick Document Translation adds settings for first-line indentation, capitalization, translated-text fonts, and Word / PDF output, together with support for VSD and VSDX files. CAT task loading time has also been reduced.

These changes are designed around frequent day-to-day operations, reducing repeated configuration, unnecessary switching, and waiting during translation work.

03 Clearer Enterprise Management and Team Permissions

The release also updates enterprise collaboration and management. Member access rules for WeCom and DingTalk workspaces have been refined, while account security policies have been strengthened.

Permission settings are now more granular across project management, Quick Document Translation, terminology databases, translation memories, and other language resources. For enterprise teams working with multiple roles, this provides clearer boundaries around who can access, use, and maintain different resources.

LanTMS v1.0.9 gives enterprises and day-to-day users more control over model selection, translation operations, and team resource management. LanTMS will continue to develop its AI model integrations, professional translation workflows, and enterprise management features to better accommodate the way different teams work.
