Post-translation Review Taking Too Long? LanTMS 1.0.6 Supports One-click AIQA Check Reports

Professional translators know that completing a translation does not mean the project is finished.
In many cases, fixing an obvious error is not the most time-consuming part. What takes more effort is the repeated checking that comes afterward: Are terms used consistently? Are numbers and units aligned with the source text? Has any information been omitted? Are numbering and tags preserved? Does the translation sound fluent but subtly change the original meaning?
This is especially common in professional documents such as medical materials, technical manuals, experimental protocols, and contracts. Post-translation review is often detailed, repetitive, and difficult to skip. Translators and reviewers need to move back and forth between the source text, target text, tables, numbering, and terminology. The longer the document, the easier it is for risks to hide in small details.
With LanTMS 1.0.6, AIQA check reports are now available to help users identify potential issues earlier and make post-translation review more focused.
Configure AIQA dimensions based on project needs
In project management, users can configure AIQA check dimensions and weights according to project requirements. Current dimensions include accuracy, terminology/wording, language quality, and audience suitability. Users can also add more customized AIQA rules based on specific project needs.
After the configuration is completed, LanTMS checks the project translation based on the selected dimensions and generates an AIQA check report.
This is not simply about giving a translation a score. The goal is to help translators identify issues that are often easy to miss in professional translation workflows and quickly locate segments that deserve closer review.

Identify potential risks before manual review
In real translation projects, many issues are not just about whether a sentence is “right” or “wrong”. They often appear in technical details.
For example, if “number of survivors” is translated as “survival rate”, the English may not look unnatural, but the concept has shifted from a number to a percentage. If “at every other dose level” is not reflected in the translation of an experimental procedure, the operation logic may be misunderstood. If a section number changes from “(II)” to “(ii)”, it may look like a small formatting issue, but it can still affect the structural consistency of a formal document.
These are the kinds of details professional translators often need to check manually. AIQA helps surface similar risks first, so translators do not have to rely only on a full manual review from beginning to end.

Export AIQA check reports for review and follow-up
With this update, users can run AIQA checks in project management and export AIQA check reports. Once the report is generated, it can be viewed and downloaded from the Download Center.
For translators, the report works like a list of review clues. It helps highlight which segments may need priority review and which areas may involve risks related to terminology, accuracy, formatting, or expression. Translators can then make final decisions based on the source text, context, domain knowledge, and client requirements.
For project managers, AIQA check reports also make quality follow-up easier. They provide clearer references for which issues need review, which types of problems appear more frequently, and whether termbases, corpora, or review strategies need to be adjusted in future projects.

More updates in LanTMS 1.0.6
In addition to AIQA check reports, LanTMS 1.0.6 also improves sharing permission control for termbases and corpora. In project management, document translation, and text translation, available language assets are now controlled based on sharing permissions, helping teams use termbases and corpora in a more standardized way.
This version also includes improvements to available traffic display, guidance when traffic is insufficient, menu wording, and selected user information options, making daily project execution and platform use smoother.
Make translation quality checks clearer and more efficient
LanTMS does not aim to hand complex review work entirely over to AI. In professional translation, many decisions still depend on context, domain knowledge, client requirements, and human judgment.
What we hope AIQA can do is take on part of the repetitive checking work, highlight potential risks earlier, and allow translators to spend more time on professional judgment, revision, and expression.
LanTMS will continue to improve AI translation, AIQA checks, language asset management, and project collaboration around the real workflows of translators, reviewers, and project teams, making quality checks in professional translation projects clearer and more efficient.
